Vikings: Season 5.2 - Extended Cut on Blu-ray Vikings is one of the most popular and successful series of the last years and still manages to excite numerous fans even though it's already in its fifth season - a phase in which many other series have already lost a tremendous amount of steam. Maybe that's due to the fact that it's already clear that it is ending soon. As with the previous seasons, the episodes of season 5.2 will be released in an extended version on Blu-ray, but for the time being only in the US. The season will be released on October 8, 2019 and therefore probably shortly before the final sixth season starts, for which there is no explicit date yet. Whether the extended versions will also make it to other markets is still unclear, the only sure thing is that you can look forward to an audio commentary, featurettes and deleted scenes in the bonus section.
