The Stand: Blu-ray Premiere in September 2019 The first-ever Blu-ray for the mini-series based on Stephen King's The Stand is scheduled for release in the US on September 24th, 2019. There is a peculiarity, because when comparing the American Artisan DVD and the Warner DVD we noticed that both versions differ. Our report gives a detailed list of the differences, including two scenes which are much more violent in the American Artisan DVD. The Blu-ray that will be released by Paramount in the US will get be Collector's Edition, which is advertised with the promise "Brilliantly Restored". What might be even more important for interested customers is based on the Artisan version, as was already the case with the Paramount DVD. Buy this title on Amazon
