Bereavement - Director's Cut Release in the US Sinister serial killer flick Bereavement starring Alexandra Daddario and Michael Biehn tells the backstory of Martin Bristol, the killer from Malevolence. In Bereavement, he is still a little boy in the claws of some serial killer who kidnaps and trains Martin to become a serial killer as well. Creator/director Stevan Mena has recently announced a longer Director's Cut of Bereavement. He already talked about his original cut having a length of approx. 3 hours and about bothh more plot and more violence being part of the longer version. Perhaps, Mena believes the time is right now. Or maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the upcoming release of the third installment of the franchise: Malevolence 3: Killer. Who knows? In the US, the Director's Cut of the second installment will be released as Malevolence 2: Bereavement. The Blu-ray will be released on 10/12/2018. Buy this title on Amazon
