Kingsman: The Golden Circle: Possible Extended Cut Director Matthew Vaughn, who also directed the first installment Kingsman: The Secret Service and was successful with it, decided to call the shots for the sequel as well. Vaughn, who is usually not a fan of any kind of deleted scenes, is considering an Extended Cut on Blu-ray in this particular case because there is way too much footage he had to cut in order to reach an acceptable length for movie theaters. According to Vaughn, he first cut of the sequel had a length of 3 hours 40 minutes. For that reason, a lot of footage needed to be cut. He did it with a heavy heart though and he also believes the movie would be quite entertaining with those scenes in it which is why he is thinking of an Extended Cut of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. When 20th Century Fox suggested to make a two-parter out of it, Vaughn refused though. In an interview with Collider, he says:
