The Godfather - The Saga Fully Uncensored in HD Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather 1 + 2 are often counted to the best films of all time by many film fans. These two films also exist in a chronological TV version that changes the order of scenes and features several new elements. It is also known as The Godfather Saga and had its premiere in US TV on 1977. However, it had to be severely cut for the airing. Sex, violence and language were censored. (see our comparisons). After AMC apparently showed the TV version in HD several years ago with less censorship, HBO has offered its viewers the HD version without any cuts. The whole spectacle had a duration of over 7 hours. It's time for a Blu-ray so that the masses can enjoy the masterpiece in a version that offers a different experience.
