Compared are the TV Version and the Extended Version
27 differences, incl. 3x alternate footage
Length difference: 230.4 sec (= 3:50 min) (plus recap/opening credits)
New season, old problem: Any Blu-ray release worldwide only contains the TV Version of every single episode while, for instance, the US and UK DVDs contain the Extended Versions.
Episode 4x24 (The One with Rossís Wedding [Part 2]) is, as usual for a season finale, a two-part episode. At least, that the case with the TV Version. The Extended Version on the other hand is one single episode and there is a lot of additional footage. While there are numerous alterations in the first part, there are even more in the second one. But then again, this is an Extended Version that actually deserves to be called that. Due to recuts, there is more footage with Rachel on her way to London, for instance. Guest star Hugh Laurie has more screen time as well. All in all, the Extended Version is simply better and there are some nice new gags.
Please note: The entry to The One With the Un-cut Friends Scripts lists less scenes as exclusive. Odds are that there is also a longer TV Version that lacks recap and opening credits.
Recap only in the TV Version (no screenshots).
The Extended Version starts with an additional shot by night instead.
TV Version 34.5 sec longer
Alternate take of Phoebe answering the phone.
Extended Version 0.4 sec longer
Subsequently afterwards, a few more redundant frames at the end/beginning of the shots.
Phoebe is confused: "What are you saying?!"
Maid: "Now, let us try that again, shall we?"
The maid then hangs up.
Phoebe is shocked: "No! Ooh! Oh my god!"
Then Phoebe redials.
Maid: "The Waltham Residence."
Phoebe (with British accent): "Hello. (This is Phoebe Buffay.)"
Opening credits in the TV Version, as usual. Then an additional exterior shot.
+ 46 sec
The TV Version sticks to the medium long shot (no screenshots).
The Extended Version contains an additional shot from a closer distance instead.
Extended Version 1.3 sec longer
After the absurd last minute additional charge is being mentioned, Rachel responds: "Huh.. How about 600?"
Rachel: "How about 600 and these earrings?"
Employee: "They prefer it if I don't barter."
By the way, this also explains why Rachel is putting down her hands at the beginning of the subsequent shot.
In the Extended Version, Mrs. Waltham says earlier: "This is ridiculous. I mean we had an agreement."
In the TV Version, the subsequent shot of them starts a little earlier instead (no screenshots).
Extended Version 3.3 sec longer
Before Rachel comes in, one gets to see Phoebe first.
The toast starts a little earlier in the Extended Version: Due to a napkin in the glass, Chandler fails to make the usual sound before his speech begins.
After removing the napkin, the TV Version contains two alternate shots with the first words of his speech.
Extended Version 6.6 sec longer
Mrs. Waltham wants to know: "Where did you get this number?"
Phoebe: "I got it from your maid. She's a bitch, but I wore her down."
After Mrs. Waltham hangs up, Phoebe says: "Okay, I'm going to have to kick her ass too."
Subsequent to the exterior shot, the scene inside starts a little earlier: The camera zooms out on Chandler.
At the end of the shot, Chandler cluelessly puts his hand on Monica.
