Sonny Boy with Blu-ray Premiere in the US The horror film Sonny Boy from 1989 didn't have it easy censorshipwise. In the US, the film was cut by 6 minutes for the "R" rating (see comparison) and the Dutch VHS carried the identical version. In Germany, 5 minutes were censored. If you wanted to obtain the fully uncut version, you had to look e.g. for the UK VHS. But that won't be necessary much longer since Scream Factory will give the film its first-ever Blu-ray release in the US. On it, the Unrated Cut of the movie will be included so past troubles can be put to rest eventually. Among the bonus specs, we have 2 new audio commentaries by the director and the scriptwriter as well as the trailer. The street date is January 26th, 2016. You can order it at Amazon.com.
