Expendables 3 - Expect a Harder Cut on Blu-ray You might think that they laugh at us. Those guys in the producers' lounge. Because we would have liked to see an "R" rated Expendables 3 in cinemas and not the censored PG-13 version for a broader audience. But as predictable as the strategy behind all of this has been so far, so predictable it continues. Stallone must have been well aware of the shitstorm he created by watering down his movie. The price that was paid for reaching a broader audience has had an impact on his image and credibility. Maybe in an attempt to restore that, Stallone mentioned at a press conference for the film that it will get a harder version on home video after its theatrical run.
