The Love Punch - British DVD/BD Also Censored What in the world has become of Pierce Brosnan? The former James Bond actor was surrounded by beautiful women, constantly in life-threatening situations and still had a cool line to say. But after his duty for his home country is done, he has a hard time satisfying the ratings boards both at home and abroad. His thriller The Ghost Writer was too vulgar for the MPAA and the romantic comedy The Love Punch contained a word that didn't sit so well with the British BBFC that at least denied the commercially attractive rating for the theatrical release. The removal of the term was the logical consequence. But there's bad, frustrating, infuriating news for all those masses of UK film fans that avoided the censored version in UK cinemas in order to wait for the uncut home video release. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will omit the word, as well. Motherf...
