Tracers Appeals R Rating Taylor Lautner. Loved by teenage girls, laughed at by the guys. And the MPAA seems to belong to the second team, as well, at least when it comes to the desired ratings that his films aim at. After his action film Abduction received an "R" rating and had to be censored for the target audience (= PG-13) it looks like luck has run out once again. His most recent film Tracers is an action film with free running as a main topic and also got the "R" rating (for violence). Again, it doesn't look like it's going to have this classification very long since the producing studio intends to appeal the decision before the ratings board and to achieve the PG-13. We'll have to wait and see whether their arguments are enough to reach that goal or whether they will have to apply cuts in order to get it. ![]()
