Jarhead 2 With Two Versions in the US

Direct-to-Video Action as Rated and Unrated Cut

Anyone out there remembering the war drama Jarhead with Jake Gyllenhaal from 2005? Surely some of our readers do. Why we ask? Because a sequel is coming our way on DVD and Blu-ray. That's right. 9 years after the theatrical film, Universal Pictures has produced a sequel for the home video sector.

On August 19th, 2014, Jarhead 2: Field of Fire will be released in the US. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will feature two versions of the movie. Next to the "R"-rated version (for war violence and language including sexual references), there's also a more explicit Unrated Cut. As soon as we can get our hands on the release, we'll show you what's different.

You can pre-order the film at Amazon.com.
