Hellraiser Remake Finally Gears Up In early 2011, everything looked set for a Hellraiser remake to happen. Patrick Lussier was the designated director, wrote the script and had Dimension Film's approval that he'd be allowed to shoot the film with an "R" rating in mind. But Lussier then left the project and the plans for the remake were shelved. However, the last days set things in motion again. Dimension is once more busy with the realisation and Clive Barker himself will write the new script. He also confirmed again that the film will be planned as an "R"-rated vehicle and that he also got Dimension Film's approval for that:
The coming months will show how much meat this all has but it looks very promising again. Really promising.
