The Wolverine - Extended Cut has 12 More Minutes We already reported that 20th Century Fox does indeed release the Extended Cut of The Wolverine, which was previously promised by director James Mangold. The longer cut is exclusively on board of the Blu-ray Collector's Edition, while the DVD and normale Blu-ray only have the theatrical version. Now, we can shed a little more light on the Extended Cut. It was previously announced with a runtime of approximately 165 minutes. However, that has been false. The real duration is now 138 minutes, which means that it runs 12 minutes longer than the PG-13 theatrical version. Safe to say that not only small violence additions will be waiting for the fans then. We'll find out soon enough when The Wolverine hits home video. In the US, the date is December 3rd, 2013, while the UK is earlier with a release date on November 18th, 2013. You can pre-order it at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
