It (2017) - Director's Cut to Be Released Soon According to an interview with director Andrés Muschietti, the remake of the Stephen King bestseller It (2017) was supposed to get a longer version for home theaters (as reported). To be more specific, a humorous scene at the stone pit was announced for the Director's Cut. All in all, approx. 15 additional minutes were announced. However, there is not a single word regarding additional footage to be found in the announcement of the US release on Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray. In other words, only the Theatrical Version will be released worldwide. At least for the time being. As reported by bloody-disgusting, the director said the Director's Cut would be released in a few words for sure. ![]()
