Beyond the Darkness (Buio Omega) by 88 Films In May 2016, 88 Films started crowdfunding campaign in order to get money for a new 2K scan because they did not consider the existing HD masters being good enough and one of the campaigns was for Beyond the Darkness (Original: Buio Omega, 1979). In the UK, the movie became one of the infamous "video nasties". As a result, only a cut version of the movie was released. But when 88 Films submitted the uncut version to the BBFC, the movie got a BBFC 18 without any kind of restriction. The new 2K scan from 16mm negative will be released on Blu-ray on 02/13/2017. In addition to the uncut and uncensored version of the movie, the Blu-ray will contain the following bonus features:
