976-EVIL on Blu-ray There are two versions of 976-EVIL (1988), Robert Englund's debut as director. Besides the Cinema Cut, shown in US theaters back in the days, a 14 minutes longer Extended Version has also been released. On 10/03/2017, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the movie on Blu-ray for the very first time. It is a US release and it will contain a new audio commentary with Robert Englund and his wife Nancy Booth Englund who was also involved. As the artwork reveals, the upcoming release will contain both versions.
