In the Director's Cut, Paul walks by a the police at a crime scene and one of the cops refers to him as "bomb kid". He gets startled but the cop explains they are about to defuse a bomb and he should get out of his way because of that. He sceptically checks out what kind of bomb he was talking about and in fact, it does look like a bomb he build.

Cops get sent out in order to defuse the bomb and someone mentions three boys had been seen planting the bomb. The Superintendent takes over and when luring out and questioning three other perps (not our main characters), the bomb turns out to be fake.
Meanwhile, Lui is nearby and he suddenly sees someone he knows running away. Lui follows and confronts him but he has mercy lets the guy walk.

Before the woman flirts with Lui, the shot of him is much longer (worse master in the DC again) plus the following shot of the woman begins earlier. Following this, a simple extension. Lui gets homw and talks to Wan Chu who is on her way out.
He wants to know what she had in the bag and says he had heard she had gotten fired two weeks before. Finally, he snatches the bag and it turns out to be empty. She sarcastically says he might as well accompany her to the bus and responds to his question about her job by telling him she was going to set off a bomb. He yells at her while she is leaving, then he enters the apartment.

Alternate

The attack in the car is longer. The beginning of the scene (taken from the worse master again) is identical in the DC. After that, a pen is being asked for (really harmless, probably just cut for pace reasons).
