Comparison between the HD version and the original version (both included on the German Blu-ray by Filmjuwelen)

- 2 differences
- Runtime difference: 53,1 sec.

In the comparison of the pilot episode, we have already summarized everything about the problems with the HD remastering of Baywatch, which is different in songs and also censored in nude scenes, at least right at the beginning.

Episode 2x19 (Now, Sit Right Back and You'll Hear a Tale) is a minute shorter in HD and this is due to two longer cuts right at the beginning. As a dream of Eddie's, there is a homage to the 60's cult series Gilligan's Island including the original cast from that time. In the distant moments, you can see excerpts from the series at that time, probably this was the reason for the interventions. Remarkable here, too, is that apart from the usual two musical differences, there are no more deviations due to exchanged filler shots.

Remark: The episode is placed 13th on the Blu-ray (third episode of the third disc).

Runtimes are ordered as follows: HD version Blu-ray / Original version Blu-ray / old DVD.

03:48 / 03:48-04:07

Shauni talks longer about Ginger from Gilligan's Island: Unlike her, she would have a bathroom. Eddie makes a stupid comment and Garner joins in too, while Mitch joins in the background.

18.9 sec

04:26 / 04:45-05:19

Harvey says that he hopes he didn't give away too much. After that, more excerpts from the series, there is a lot of laughing and Mitch turns off the TV to everyone's disappointment.

34.2 sec

The silly music to accompany the time-lapse scenes of the house construction in minute 26/27 was exchanged. In minute 40/41, shortly before the credits, Mitch's whistling was changed for some strange reason.
