Compared are the TV Version and the Extended Version

5 differences
Difference: 7.3 sec

The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions, which can be found on these DVDs.

Episode 2x02 (The One with the Breast Milk) is barely different in its Extended Version. The slightly longer scene during a dialog is not really worth mentioning. Two further mini differences are regarding to transitions. Worth mentioning are the two further differences though. Only the Extended Version zooms in on Joey and his competitor Hombre. Makes it a little more Western (the genre, not the direction) - but it might as well be an alteration exclusively made for the Blu-ray release.

Slightly longer black screen after the opening credits in the TV Version.

+ 1.5 sec

Monica tries to hide that she's talking to Julie on the phone by saying "Hi, Ju... Hi, Jew!". Then she makes up a background story for a Jewish friend. After mentioning his name, she adds "He's going through this whole religion thing." in the Extended Version. Then Rachel again.

4 sec

The TV Version fades to black, then it fades in and we're with Ben. The Extended Version contains an additional exterior shot instead.

Extended Version 1.5 sec longer

A further transition starts a little earlier in the Extended Version. The TV Version immediately starts with the tracking shot to the top.

1.8 sec

When Joey and Hombre are duelling each other. The Extended Version zooms in to their faces - again: Western sytle. The (Blu-ray) TV Version doesn't zoom in when the camera tracks forward.
