The scene in which Ray is looking the picture with magnifying glass is longer in the UK Version.
Ray (on the phone): "Listen, mate. I don't care if your wife does leave you, alright? A man died in that club and we need to find out who was there. Well, just go and have a word with her, alright? 'Cause you're coming down the station."
While being on the phone, he grabs a picture, looks at it with a magnifying glass and recognizes Sally (the one-eyed-stripper).
Then Chris, who is talking to the strip club owner: "Before, it wasn't a double-murder inquiry. Tell me what happened that night."
In the background, Ray is still checking out the picture with a magnifier.
The strup club owner now responds to Chris' remark: "Same as happens every night. I told you all this before. They're punters. They pay their money, have a quick wank under their macs and leave."
Shaz (from the background): "That's disgusting."
Chris: "Yeah. You should be ashamed of yourself."
Shaz: "Why should women be treated like objects? It's not right."
Chris nods, the strip club owner does not really agree with them and looks aside. Then Ray with picture and magnifier again. He spots someone else on the picture.
In the International Version, Chris recognizes first Sally, then another person. Anything in between is missing.
With the now following shot of Alex and Gene, the versions are back in sync.

When Alex tries to talk Kevin Hales into surrendering, the UK Version is longer.
Alex runs up the stairs while Hales is yelling "Come on, you bastards! Come and get me!".
Then Alex: "Kevin? Kevin? Kevin?"
Hales turns his head to Alex who is slowly coming up the stairs. Then she stops.
Alex: "I… I never met Sean."
Hales: "You're not fit to say his name."
Alex: "Yeah, so I hear. He was a decent copper and a good man."
Kevin: "He was my friend."

The bold-marked dialogs are missing in the International Version.

With Alex's "What happened, Kevin?", the versions are back in sync.

After Alex told Gene Superintendent Mackintosh is somehow involved, Gene says "Mac". The following scene of the International Version shows Alex in te hallway.
In the UK Version, the scene has not ended yet.
Alex: "He had a meeting with Sean on the last day of his life."
Gene: "Yeah, but it's not unusual for a superintendent to meet his PC, especially if he was going to fast-track him into CID."
Alex: "No, but it is unusual not to tell the people who are investigating that PC's murder."
Gene: "No."
Alex: "Yes."
Gene: "No. Enough. Keep Mac out of this."
When Gene has left, we now see Alex in the hallway.

The UK Version contains a further shot of Alex in front of the closed door. She stays there for a moment, then she angrily leaves the station.
