Galerians is a survival horror game for the PlayStation (PSX). It's about Rion Steiner, a 16-year old boy who wakes up with amnesia in a hospital of the future. Driven by a myterious voice in his head, Rion tries to find clues about who he really is. In this process, he gets sucked in into an ongoing conspiratorial story full of drugs and mental violence.
Compared are the censored UK PAL Version & the German PAL Version (equal content) and the uncensored US NTSC Version. All European/PAL versions include the same censored version.
The last seconds of the intro right before the start menu has been removed for the European Version. A tracking shot of a blood-smeared path full of bodies, which ends with the face of the main character "Rion", is missing.
Rion's influence on his enemies during a mental overload has been altered. In the US Version, the blood splatters out of the heads when they're blowing up. In the European on the other hand, the enemies just get tossed away which causes hematopoiesis.
