The films of Tinto Brass have always been known to cause scandals and visual material from our perspective as well, because in many countries the erotic adventures have run afoul of the censors. Tra(sgre)dire (international alternative title: Cheeky) from 2000, for example, was censored in several markets, among them Germany.

In Great Britain, too, the film was initially released only in censored form. Older DVDs by Arrow Video were shortened by almost a minute. Unlike the German version, mostly only short peaks were defused. Here, too, you have to do without various close-ups of rubber dummies of the male genitals as well as a few somewhat wilder sex moments. Since the 2013 re-release (Blu-ray+DVD combo), however, the film is fortunately available uncut in the UK and that too in reasonable HD quality.
