Compared are the shortened UK-VHS released by Apex (BBFC 18) and the uncut German DVD released by Laser Paradise (not rated).

Difference: 38 missing scenes with a total length of 14 minutes and 31 seconds.

"Nights of Terror" is an average zombie flick that withholds really ugly splatter scenes which makes it even more confusing that 14 1/2 min of footage was removed from the old UK-VHS by Apex. But the tape doesn't only lack any violent scenes but also entire blocks of scenes. Fortunately, Vipco released an uncut version with the title "The Zombie Dead" on VHS and DVD in the UK.
