Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain Censored for PC

Console Version Stays Uncensored

The enormously successful game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been slightly censored in a cutscene. As the Youtube channel Censored Gaming shows in a video, the video sequence was censored for the Japanese market but it apparently also found its way into other markets, as well.

Wat is remarkable is that all German console releases feature an "uncut" sticker on the cover artwork. The PC version does not. We asked the German Konami office but they told us that this censorship is news to them, as well. We'll have to see how this turns out in the near future.
