31 - Rob Zombie Teases His New Horror Film
After his rather solid film The Lords of Salem, Rob Zombie has taken on a new project. It is entitled 31 and its story takes place on Halloween in the year 1975. It deals with 5 abducted people that have to play the brutal game called "31" in a location called "Murder House". The movie is financed by crowd funding.
Last friday, Zombie took his time to answer fan questions in a live talk and shared a little info on the upcoming movie. According to him, 31 will be "gorier and crazier than ever" and that could prompt the MPAA to give it an NC-17 rating that after several rounds of submittals could then lead to an "R"-rated version.
Still, even when it comes from Rob Zombie himself, that should all be considered speculation at this point. At least he knows what the fans want to hear and how to raise their expectations. We'll see what happens.
