La Notte (The Night) in April on Blu-ray in the UK

Eureka! Releases Restored Version of the Film

The Italian drama La Notte (The Night) by director Michelangelo Antonioni will have its Blu-ray premiere in the UK. The distributor Eureka! will release the film from 1961 in its "Masters of Cinema" series with the original aspect ratio.

Furthermore, the previously censored scenes were restored. Since there is no English synchro, the film will feature its original Italian audio track. The English subtitles will be new and improved. As bonus, there's the original trailer and a 56-page booklet with a lot of background info about the movie.

Release date is April 22nd, 2013.
