Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: Mini-Series Likely Only recently Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight appeared as a 4-part extended version on Netflix (our comparisons begin here), then it became known that a Director's Cut of Django Unchained already exists and will be released sometime soon - but as a film, not as a mini-series. Now there is similar information about the latest Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in the leading roles has already been changed from the Cannes version to the final theatrical version (see our news here). But that's not enough, because as reported, a third version is already planned. As a mini-series. According to Kyle Buchanan, who works for The New York Times, Tarantino has promised some actors that he will include their deleted scenes back into the movie for the later version. One of these actors, Nicholas Hammond, confirmed this:
An official announcement is still pending. The theatrical version of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood started in US cinemas on July 22nd, 2019 while several international territories will have to wait a little longer. ![]()
