Dialog Censorship
0:41:10: Wade uses a more flowery description for Firefist's future in prison. R-Rated: "It ends with me dying of cancer and you winning the Ice Box award for softest mouth" PG-13: "It ends with me dying of cancer and you winning the Ice Box award for most pinchable cheeks" No time difference
0:42:46: Wade is annoyed that the cell door won't open. 3.48 sec 0:42:50: How Cable fights with several prison guards and kills them was cut completely in the PG-13. 22 sec
0:43:22: A guard is knocked to the ground by the explosion. 0.92 sec
Dialog Censorship 0:43:31: Different choice of words for Wade and a different take. R-Rated: "What did I do to piss off a grumpy old fucker with a Winter Soldier arm?" PG-13: "What did I do to piss off a grumpy old guy with a Winter Soldier arm?" The R-Rated runs 3.28 sec. longer
0:43:49: Wade slams a grate piece against an inmate's head, Cable handles several guards rudely. 6.56 sec
Alternate Material 0:44:10: Actually, this fight scene is cut in several moments. Wade gets pistol-whipped by Cable, gets Cable's fist in his abdomen, and interestingly, Cable also shoots him beforehand here, and only then does Firefist (more clearly) stab him in the leg. In the PG-13, this is more harmless and the shot at Wade also looks like an accident by Cable because of the stab. The R-Rated runs 8.04 sec. longer
0:44:49: When Wade is seen broken-bodied after falling on the table, this is of course missing in the PG-13. 9.8 sec
0:45:11: Cable shoots another guard. 2.52 sec
0:45:35: Wade hits Cable two more times with the iron bar. 0.52 sec.
Alternate Material 0:46:42: In the R-Rated, Wade has three questions, in the PG-13 only one. Withheld are Wade's questions about which Sharknado part they' ve reached in the future by now, and third, at what point would he have to say enough is enough with the robot arms. The R-Rated runs 8.68 sec. longer
0:47:08: Cable beats up Wade more in the R-Rated. 4.64 Sec
0:47:18: Wade chokes Cable longer with his twisted arm. 1.92 sec
0:47:21: Again. 0.88 sec. 0:47:22: Cable stabs Deadpool three times in the body with a knife and in the PG-13 they cut it so it doesn't show. 10.24 sec
Dialog Censorship 0:47:46: First, there are a few more frames to see during the scuffle, then a verbal defusing in the PG-13 during Wade's sentence. R-Rated: "Like the memory of your fucking fanny pack!" PG-13: "Like the memory of your fanny pack!" 2.28 sec.
Alternate Material 0:48:30: Wade falls to the ground in the R-Rated much more brutally. The R-Rated runs 0.36 sec longer
Dialog Censorship 0:48:37: Wade speaks differently about Firefist in both versions. R-Rated: "I don't give a fuck about him and his "Are You My Mother? "complex!" PG-13: "He's just some kid with an "Are You My Mother?" complex. I don't give a damn about him." The PG-13 runs 0.72 sec. longer
0:49:00: Slightly longer in the R-Rated is when Firefist is shown in jail. Around him, inmates are being knocked down by guards and also longer is how he is handled with the stun gun. 6.68 sec.
Alternate Material 0:49:21: Wade's head collides bloodily with the stone, in the PG-13 this is missing, he just tumbles down a few frames longer. 0.68 sec
Alternate Material 0:50:20: Wade's bruise (?) on his head was digitally removed in the PG-13. Whether this happened for connection reasons or has a censorship background is probably left open to interpretation. No time difference
Alternate Material 0:50:20: Wade's bruise (?) on his head was digitally removed in the PG-13. Whether this happened for connection reasons or has a censorship background is probably left open to interpretation. No time difference
Dialog Censorship 0:51:07: The conversation between Wade and Weasel is a bit more vulgar in the R-Rated. R-Rated: "...and a vicious super soldier from the future that is looking to turn your skull into a fuckable ashtray." - "You know what we need to do? We need to build a fucking team." PG-13: "...and a vicious super soldier from the future who is dead set on turning your skull into an ashtray." - "You know what we need to do? We need to build a team." 0.92 sec.
0:51:15: Here we see again that the PG-13 is a hybrid of R-Rated and Extended, as it has an EX extension here: Weasel lists a few more franchise movie titles: Ocean's 14, Rogue 2 or John Wick 3 (but that one only with the original directors). For this, Weasel snaps at Dopinder only in the R-Rated that he should take care of the napkins. Weasel then apologizes to Wade for having to watch that. Also the following shot, when Cable looks at himself in the mirror, runs longer in the R-Rated (but is not more productive in terms of content). The R-Rated runs 15.76 sec. longer Extended scene in the PG-13 1:03:00: Again, an extension from the EX. Russell is walking through the jail with his dinner tray, stealing a pudding from an inattentive fellow inmate. Only then does he sit down, which the R-Rated also shows. 14.68 sec. Dialog Censorship 0:52:29: The argument about the pudding becomes more vulgar. R-Rated: "What the fuck do you want?. - "That's my fucking pudding." - "Fuck your pudding! PG-13: "What do you want?" - "You stole my pudding." - "What pudding?" No time difference
0:52:46: As Russell makes his way to Juggernaut's cell, the PG-13 saves time on several insignificant shots. 9.16 sec Alternate Material 0:55:26: The same difference is evident in the EX: the casting of Domino is a different take in both versions, probably the makers liked the one in the DC better in the end. Notable differences are at most the position and the course of the duel about who is right between her and Deadpool, whether luck is a superpower. In the DC, she tricks him and he tells her to get out of his head, but she says she's not in his head, but judging by the room, in the bedroom of an eleven year old. Furthermore, she says that everything usually ends well for her, to which Deadpool says that yes, this is like Ryan Reynolds in 2008. Domino counters that she doesn't know him. The R-Rated runs 5.4 sec. longer Alternate Material 0:56:23: Another difference you know from the EX: Deadpool asks Peter if he really doesn't have superpowers. Peter says he has diabetes type 1 and 2, which causes astonishment. Deadpool says he should let him know if he discovers type 3. In the R-Rated he just says the ad looked entertaining. The PG-13 runs 9.72 sec longer Dialog Censorship 0:56:25: Dopinder is cursing about Peter being hired. More harmless in the PG-13, though. R-Rated: "Fuck!" PG-13: "Come on!" No time difference 0:56:35: Firefist is being pushed into a cell and other inmates are also shown. 8.8 sec
0:57:08: As Cable questions Weasel, the PG-13 saves a little time on a couple of shots. Only the F-word censorship is relevant here. R-Rated: "The monster's with them. I wouldn't fuck with him." PG-13: "The monster's with them. I wouldn't mess with him." 5.96 sec. 0:59:14: Domino doubts the name X-Force in the R-Rated, but Deadpool tells Peter that he didn't ask him. The latter, puzzled, says he didn't make the remark. 5 sec.
Dialog Censorship 0:59:53: Deadpool swears differently in both versions. R-Rated: "Ah, shit" PG-13: "Ah, darn" No time difference
1:00:10: Deadpool says to Peter in the R-Rated that he would like the McRib to be on sale year round, but some dreams wouldn't come true. 5.2 sec
Dialog Censorship 1:01:33: Wade curses differently after his crash landing in both versions. R-Rated: "Holy mommy fucking shit!" PG-13: "Holy mommy, what the...?" No time difference
Alternate Material 1:01:48: When Bedlam collides with the bus, there is some blood on the windshield, but only in the R-Rated. No time difference
Dialog Censorship 1:01:51: Deadpool is cursing about Bedlam's accident. R-Rated: "No! Tripping motherfucking billies!" PG-13: "No! Tripping billies!" No time difference 1:02:03: Shatterstar's death by helicopter rotor blades is more brutal in the R-Rated. 1.8 sec
New scene in the PG-13 PG-13: 1:00:11: The Vanisher sizzles slightly longer in the R-Rated. In return, in the PG-13, there is a funny new scene in the room with Fred and Deadpool. Fred is amazed that Brad Pitt is playing the Vanisher and Deadpool says he's holding him captive in a basement with Matt Damon and Celine Dion. He says it's like The Shawshank Redemption there. Fred says he'd like to fight Matt Damon sometime. In English, of course, he says the word "fight" and Deadpool quickly recognizes the comedic potential in that. He asks Fred what exactly this is supposed to look like, and he describes it using this word frequently. Deadpool then always beeps away that exact word, so you get the impression that Fred is saying "fuck" all the time. Only towards the end of the scene does Fred notice this and angrily confronts Deadpool. - 94.72 sec.
Alternate Material 1:03:12: Peter's rescue mission for Zeitgeist has deadly consequences. First his arm is cauterized, then Zeitgeist is reduced to a bloody pulp by the woodchopper. The PG-13 shows a less bloody version of Peter and doesn't show other brutal views at all. And Deadpool also only curses in the R-Rated with an F-word. The R-Rated runs 2.72 sec. longer
Alternate Material 1:03:18: You can see Deadpool and in the background the bus that Bedlam fatally collided with. The view has been shortened in the PG-13 and the blood has been digitally removed from the bus. 1.08 sec.
Dialog Censorship 1:03:41: Domino vulgarly insults Deadpool in the R-Rated. R-Rated: "Fuck, you're dumb." PG-13: "You are so dumb." Also, Deadpool shouts some parting words to the Vanisher in the PG-13: "Looking good, Vanisher!". But this change happened only on the soundtrack and is known from the EX. No time difference
Alternate Material 1:04:01: The PG-13 is more up to date. The graffiti of Stan Lee features an "RIP". During the time of the theatrical version's release, he was still alive. Very attentive. No time difference
Dialog Censorship 1:04:13: The dialog between Deadpool and Domino is more vulgar in the R-Rated. R-Rated: "Luck is not a superpower! We are so fucked!" - "No, we most certainly are not fucked" ... "What coked out, glass pipe-sucking freakshow comic book artist came up with that little chestnut?" PG-13: "Luck is not a superpower! We are so screwed!" - "No, we most certainly are not screwed" ... "What kind of caffeine-chugging diet-soda-swillin' freakshow comic book artist came up with that little chestnut?" The R-Rated runs 4.04 sec. longer
Dialog Censorship 1:05:05: Deadpool's surprise about Domino's progress is more vulgar in the R-Rated. R-Rated: "How in the fuck are you in already?" PG-13: "How in the name of Satan are you in already?" No time difference
