Compared are the TV Version and the Extended Version.

16 differences, among them 5 with alternative footage and 1 longer scene in the TV Version
Length difference: 66.3 sec (= 1:06 min)

The Blu-ray release only contains the TV versions of the episodes, as was the case with the first season. Those who know the DVD releases from the USA or Great Britain will surely miss the extended versions, which can be found on these DVDs.

Episode 2x14 (The One with the Prom Video) is more than one minute longer resulting from several short extendded scenes - as often, some are well-made, others are not. At the end of the episode, the cuts for pace reasons pile up.

While the TV Version immediately begins with Joey coming in after a longer black screen, Chandler is playing alone in the Extended Version. He runs around the football table from one side to another.

Extended Version 4.2 sec longer

Chandler also says: "Well I never have been good to go. So, uh- what the hell? Why not try on some jewelry?"
Then an alternate take of the wristband being put on.

Extended Version 4.5 sec longer

Black screen after the opening credits.

Phoebe justifies herself for her weird arm movements: "You have to... you have to picture lobsters."

4.2 sec

In the TV Version, the scene ends with a distance shot.

In the Extended Version, Phoebe makes a comment about Chandler's wristband: "No, no, it's fun, it's fun. It's like knowing one of the Gabor Sisters."
Then the others from an alternate angle.

Extended Version 5 sec longer

Monica's awkward conversation with her mom is longer.
Mrs. Geller: "So what's new with you? What can you tell us? How's your job?"
Monica: "Job? Well..uh, did I mention that I still don't have a boyfriend?"
Mrs. Geller: "Ah, oh well. I just assumed."

In the TV Version, shots at the beginning and end are a few frames longer and that's it (no screens).

Extended Version 13.2 sec longer

Ross' bold question how long the guy at the bar was already talking to Rachel is being answered.
Phoebe: "I don't know, a couple of minutes."
Ross: "Uh, try doubling that..."

4.3 sec

The TV Version fades to black due to a commercial break.

In the Extended Version, Ross leaves humiliated with the words "I gotta go" plus a further shot of disappointed Phoebe. Rachel takes a deep breath and finally an additional exterior shot introducing the following scene with Joey and Chandler.

Extended Version 9.8 sec longer

The TV Version sticks to Chandler all the time when Joey is leaving. Finally, a shot of his door being shut.

The Extended Version cuts to an alternate angle, followed by an alternate tale of Joey going to the door. He also says: "Oh yeah, well focus on this."
He grabs his crotch and one can hear the door being shut offscreen during a shot of perplexed Chandler. Chandler comments the whole thing with "Hard to argue with that.", then he approaches the door as well.

Extended Version 9 sec longer

TV VersionExtended Version

A first shot of Joey looking angry. Chandler says: "You're going to grab yourself again, aren't ya?"

(After a shot of Mrs. Geller,) Mr. Geller also wants to know: "Aren't you, sweetie?"
Monica repeats her motto: "In the bank."
