A knocking on Paul's work colleague's hotel door. He opens the door and the chambermaid enters the room. He tells her he needs some more shampoo. A man and his goons stepping through the open door. When Paul's work colleague notice this, the chambermaid is choked by one of the men. The intruders want to know under which name Paul was admitted to the hospital. When his colleague is not willing to cooperate, his ear is cut off. On a table, the intruders finally find a clue and the colleague is killed.

In the TC you can see Paul watching the Japanese movie in which a woman is killed by a samurai.

At the WP, Paul takes the phone to call Pattison. The woman on the other end of the line tells him there was an accident. There are scenes from the Japanese movie.

The lieutenant meets Yamura in the hallway and tells him that he has to talk to Paul. He passes two cleaners and tells them to wait. One oif the cleaners secretly pulls out a knife, but the lieutenant only wants to throw away his cup.

At the TC, the lieutenant comes into the room. Paul tells him that he wants to disappear.

The cleaners are walking through the hallway.

The lieutenant tells Paul it's safest here. He reports to a colleague by radio.

In the WP you see a bit longer how Paul puts the note in his pocket. The lieutenant comes into the room. Paul tells him that he wants to disappear and finds out that Pattison was killed. The lieutenant apologizes because his team didn't guard Pattison. When Paul wants to leave, the lieutenant tells him that Paul is not in the right condition. Here it is safest, then he calls a colleague by radio.
