The Movie:
The three US-Americans Andy, Brad and Chris are on a trip through Europe and end up in Paris. On the Eiffel Tower, Andy saves a young beauty's life. Unfortunately, she turns out to be a werewolf... What can be said about American Werewolf? Somehow, it was better in my memory. The story is not exactly creative and the actors seem quite wooden, except maybe the pretty funny Julie Bowen (Amy). Animations: Naturally, the workprint lacks a lot of animations. In order not to mention the same things over and over again, different aspects of this will be mentioned here but not in the comparison itself: Werewolves: They are not always animated, sometimes this also affects the surrounding.
Moon: It is sometimes half animated, sometimes completely removed.
The shots depicting the werewolves' point of view feature a yellow filter on the DVD.

Only one survived. Crossing the channel, living for generations on the north of Northern England until shot by simple farmers after attacking away the trouble. 1:35:51 Alternative ending in the WP, Andy is on the way to the hospital. Andy: Hi, honey. You feel better now? Serafine: Everthing is fine. The camera pans to the flowers. Serafine: They are beautiful. The inspector is also in the room. Inspector: Congratulations! A nurse comes into the room with a pram. Andy lifts the veil and starts screaming. Serafine: What? Andy screams again. Serafine: What is it? What?! Andy: Just kidding. She gives him a little slap, then they kiss and the camera pans to the baby. Then the baby's eyes suddenly start glowing.
The workprint lacks the ending credits. DVD ending: Andy and Serafine are standing on a platform wedding dresses. Chris approaches and tells them that they have to hurry up because someone is coming. He is so stressed that he drops the ring, which rolls off the platform and falls down. The two jump after it, it can now be seen that they are jumping off the Statue of Liberty. Andy catches the ring and puts it on Serafine's finger. Chris then sees that Andy's bungee rope is not fixed to the statue but fails to grab it before it is gone. However, Andy and Serafine have hugged each other so strongly that he did not fall anyway.
