38:39 / 36:36-37:25
Subsequent to Yang's sacrifice, the Taiwanese VHS contains an additonal scene: There is footage of Sung's funeral with Yang and the others saying goodbye for good. The following conversation between the baddies also starts a little earlier in the Uncut Export Version. 49.3 sec
42:55-43:01 / 41:37 The previous shots of the Taiwanese VHS already contain some jump cuts but now an intentional cut (due to alcoholism?): At the very end of the shot and also at the beginning of the following one, Lung takes a sip from his glass. + 6.8 sec
For a change, there is an altered audio track: When Yang carries Alice away in minute 53/54, some sentimental song is playing - the song lyrics, however, are exclusively in the Taiwanese Version. According to the subtitles, this is also where the Taiwanese title originates from: "Who knows about me?"
65:46 / 64:12-64:24 Two further shots of the beach chase before Mei appears with the boat. 11.6 sec
77:59 / 76:32-77:13 Longer fight on the Taiwanese VHS: Yang is being attacked by some guy with a shovel. Weird sounds are audible plus there is some screwing around. It does not take long and the shovel gets stucked in a wood stack. Yang kicks the guy to the ground and walks up to him. 41.2 sec
78:55 / 78:08-78:24 After shovel guy gets to keep fighting Yang in the Uncut Export Version as well, the rest of the scene is missing. Being pretty woozy, he staggers, makes a face and disappears. 15.2 sec
79:02-80:23 / 78:30 Curiously enough, weird dude gets some additional screentime in the Uncut Export Version here. He has a head guard and also a tin guard for his upper body but that does not really help either. After a few punches in the face and after Yang responds to a huge hatchet with an even bigger one, he finally gives up. Actually, he is glad Chen Sing, who has just shown up, takes over. They put away the hatches and the result is a fistfight. + 80.5 sec (= 1:21 min)
83:37-83:54 / 81:43 In the Uncut Export Version, cops show up at this point plus the burning car in between. + 16.8 sec
On the Taiwanese VHS, the two following shots contain some text that appears on the screen. The Export Version does not.
Alternate 84:23-84:34 / 82:12-82:23 Completely and utterly pointless alternate footage: The Uncut Export Version shows little Kock for the very first time while the Taiwanese VHS contains a shot of a boat. no difference
The subsequent "End" credit appears on red blackground in the Uncut Export Version. In the Taiwanese Version on the other hand, the credit appears during the very last shot.
