Mediocre slasher flick from Ruggero Deodato about a murderous medicine man with a thing for camping teenagers. Some sites indicate that the Japanese VHS contains the longest version of the movie, mentioning a running time of 89 minutes. Fact is that the German DVD from ems contains the same version as the Japanese tape, and the website dvdcompare offers dubious information about the German DVD version containing cuts with an overall running time of 33 seconds, without mentioning details.
More misleading information is found on Imdb.com, stating that the DVD from Hollywood DVD was produced using a pre-cut master. Whether or not this is true remains unknown. However, the mirror scene is missing in this version. The BBFC homepage lists he DVD as cut (14 sec.). This points to the mirror scene but the DVD is missing even more footage, indicating that cuts have been made before the rating. Sources: imdb
