Then, as a flashback, the scene from TC's childhood follows in which he notices slime leaking from the borehole and he warns his father. The rig explodes and TC locks the basement.

Willy draws the monster on his pad. The raven flies to his window and Willy chases it away.

In the next scene, Mance and Willy are standing in front of the basement door. Willy wants to show him what he saw, but Mance slams the door and says there are no monsters.

Afterwards, Sam is seen praying by the campfire. He is trying to hold back the monster.

The scene of Mance and Emily on the couch follows. The ending has been shortened in the process.

Willy comes up to Sam with the spear and says to stay away from him. He breaks the spear and says that he is not afraid of him. When Willy hears a howl, he sits down on a rock. He learns from Sam that the latter is a medicine man. Willy finally tells him that he saw something in the pond. He learns from Sam that it is a monster and to get him if he sees the monster again. Willy says that his father will not believe him. Sam gives him a new spear to protect him from the monster.

Willy sets a trap in the basement. The monster blunders into it, but is held back by the chain on the trap. Willy escapes from the cellar.

The scene follows in which Sam is killed by the monster and Mance goes outside to check it out.

Finally, the scene follows in which Willy sees the crow with the severed finger in its beak.

In the DC, Mance and Willy are seen earlier before the blast. Mance says that he missed Willy.

The scene follows in which the lizard disappears into the cellar door.

Then the scene of Mance and Willy in front of the cellar door.

Willy lays the trap in the basement. The monster blunders into it and Willy escapes.

The scene follows in which Willy paints the monster and chases away the crow.
