In the US, the scene goes even further. Maggie comes to Blade. He's at a loss because he can't get any further in this case. She advises him to spend more time on the case. Blade thinks that he has already invested a lot of time and thinks about giving up the case. Maggie questioning him if this is related to Powers, Blade reacts irritated.
The cop walks up to a phone and calls Powers.

Petersen is leaving the house. His mother discovers a pair of bloody gloves while vacuuming. Petersen has forgotten something and runs back. His mother calls Powers, but Steiner gets rid of her. She calls a second time and talks to Powers. He wants Steiner to look at her.
