An overload occurs in the WP. Pinhead makes some chains appear, which wrap around Angelique. The latter is dragged to the center. Pinhead gets down from the ceiling and runs to John. He tells him that he is as dangerous as Angelique claimed.

The WP shows Merchant making a drawing, then a jump into the future follows. Using a knife, Paul shaves off his hair. A voice indicates that the planetary constellation will occur in 20 minutes.

Paul goes to a priest and asks for forgiveness for himself and his ancestors. He explains to him that when the timer goes off the Elysium configuration has occurred. This is active for 23 minutes and he prays for God's work to be accomplished in this time frame. The priest thinks that this is little time for centuries of pain. Paul prays that the nightmare will end and the souls of his ancestors will find peace. A cut to the constellation follows. A voice says that the constellation will occur in 10 minutes. Paul has to start the incantation. He tells the priest that he must invoke something that no human should see. Paul further explains that his ancestors opened a gate through which demons entered this world. He now wants to erase this stain with light. The priest wants to pray for Paul. Paul tells him to pray that the light will be strong enough to send the demons back from whence they came. The voice tells Paul to begin the incantation. Using a remote control, Paul makes the priest disappear.

A woman appears on the screen saying that Paul is about to break the law and his ship will be boarded. In between, a cut to the spaceship.
