59:25 Since is this is big finale of Ashes to Ashes and also the (if you will) the real finale of Life on Mars, there is no preview of the next episode of course. Instead, there is a post credits scene that looks like an old black-and-white film. To be more specific, this is a reference to "The Blue Lamp" and "Dixon". "The Blue Lamp" is an old English movie and "Dixon" its spin-off. The cop from that scene got shot in the movie and died. With no further explanation, he was one of the main characters in the spin-off. This scene implies that the cop in "The Blue Lamp" actually died and "Dixon" takes place in purgatory - similar to "Ashes to Ashes". Anyway, a cop uniforms is talking to the camera: "So it was all sorted out in the end and no bones broken, luckily. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm gonna knock off. I'm beginning to fancy my supper. See you next week. Ta-ta." The cop turns around, then we hear a whistle. And while he is leaving, the good old "The End" sign appears on the screen. The camera pans up and we now see that the cop was standing in front of a police station. Then the logos in the UK Version. 21.32 sec
