Comparison between the HD version and the original version (both included on the German Blu-ray by Filmjuwelen)
Proportionate running time of episode 1 in the film version: 32:06 min In the comparison of the pilot episode, we have already summarized everything about the problems with the HD remastering of Baywatch, which is different in songs and also censored in nude scenes, at least right at the beginning. Episode 2x02 (Nightmare Bay, part 2) has much less differences than the first part of the two-parter, whereas the two cut scenes were already checked off in the previous comparison. There are a few small tightening cuts to be discovered here, besides the usual alternative moments and exchanged songs.
The HD/series version starts after the opening credits with a 10 second replay of the (almost) last shots from episode 1, where people jump off the boat.
