Comparison between the cut 1987 UK VHS by CIC and the uncut R-Rated version.

The old British VHS by CIC was cut by 3 minutes alhtough it was based on the shorter R-Rated version anyway. This R-Rated version was also released in the UK on VHS and DVD, whereas the Unrated version is unfortunately still unavailable there.

Niki asks Max to take his pocket knife and cut her shoulder a little. Max looks at the wound on her shoulder and says that it looks as if he is not the first to do so. They look at the TV again, a women is being tortured on it. Niki asks how people can make such movies. Max answers that he does not know but that the most actors only take part in it once. He then asks her what she did to her shoulder. Niki answers that it had been a friend of hers and that he would certainly like Videodrome as well. Niki nods when Max asks whether her friend has cut her and asks in return whether he likes it. Max does not know, causing her to ask whether they should try something.

Max pulls the needle out of Niki's ear, licks it and puts it in her other ear. They then kiss.

Niki leans back, calls Max and brings her cigarette close to her breast. Max says that she should not do it, but she already pushes the hot end on her chest, creating a small wound. She takes a drag and gives the cigarette to Max.

The second employee, who was shot by Max briefly before, is lying on the ground with a hole in his head. Bianca approaches, grabs Max and leaves the office with him.
