28:00 / 34:09-34:14

After "He's large," Olive is singing, "And he's mine."
Recut to the other girls.

4.8 sec

28:15 / 34:30-35:07

A first time back at Olive, she sings "large" and "mine" several more times, which the girls also repeat.
Then Bluto again, continuing to pick the flower and making it exciting for the anxious people whether she will marry him or not. He then pushes a guy with a hat to the ground - only this last part comes shortly afterwards also in the EU version.

35.9 sec

Recut / Alternative.
28:35-28:50 / 35:29-35:33

Olive in the original version a little longer behind the door, the song fades out. The follow up shot of Bluto also starts a little earlier.

In the EU version, the scene with the guy with the hat is then inserted here again for this, and afterwards already brought forward how Olive goes outside.

EU version 10,6 sec longer

29:50 / 36:35-37:13

Now you can also see Olive walking outside in the original. The shot is also a bit longer.
Following that, another scene inside: A fly buzzes around Bluto and the mood is tense. He eventually catches it with his hand and the crowd cheers.

36.1 sec

30:24 / 37:48-37:50

Olive staggers around a bit longer at the end/beginning of two shots.

1.6 sec

30:46 / 38:13-38:16

Olive is undecided for longer which way to go. Short cut to Popeye hurrying behind.

2.88 sec

31:25 resp 31:38-31:52 / 38:56-39:11

Nana hands Bluto some more tea and he finishes the glass in one go. Comes unchanged in the EU version a bit later after the next cut to Popeye and Olive.

No time difference.

Strangely, the follow-up shot outside plays much slower in the EU version.

31:52 / 39:23-39:31

Nana calls out to Olive and Bluto snorts angrily.

7.7 sec

32:29 / 40:10-40:14

Bluto bites the glass a little longer and the follow up shot also starts much earlier.

3.4 sec

32:36 / 40:20-40:24

People marvel a little longer.

3.9 sec

32:43 / 40:31-40:35

Another cut to Olive, with Popeye saying off-camera, "Boy, he had a sensk of humor, didn't he?"

3.6 sec

33:12 / 41:05-41:09

Popeye first stands up at the beginning of the shot and says, "Here we-- I was philostiphising."

3.5 sec

33:24 / 41:22-41:28

Olive first talks her way out of it a bit to her basket; "It is not my basket. Somebody has deliberately painted that basket to look like my basket."

5.7 sec

33:44 / 41:48-41:50

Another shot of the basket.

1.9 sec

34:59 / 43:08-43:22

Bluto screams loudly, causing the windows to shatter and people to get scared outside as well.

13.4 sec

35:03 / 43:26-43:32

Bluto walks around a bit and Nana gives another hand signal to the people on the side.

5.2 sec

35:06 / 43:35-43:37

As Bluto rips out the sofa, the blind guy here jumps into the arms of another guy.

1.2 sec

Recut / Alternative.
35:08-35:33 / 43:39-44:56

Another man does the same. Further chaos ensues and Bluto begins to sing "I'm mean", which generally only happens in the original version. Much detailed destruction follows.

In the EU version, without this song at all, parts of this orgy of destruction are shown severely shortened and in a twisted order. The versions don't run in sync again until a line of people has formed outside on the stairs.

original version 49.4 sec longer

Recut.
35:43-36:02 / 45:06

Then before Popeye and Olive join in, the EU version reinserts Bluto's scream that causes the window to burst. How Nana and co anxiously go after him again seems to be exclusive material for the EU version.

+ 19 sec

41:28-41:36 / 50:46-51:53

After a surprisingly long segment with no differences, there is another longer cut here, as a small piece of music has again been removed before the boxing match. The residents sing an ode to Sweethaven in the original version, meanwhile Popeye and Olive arrive. At the entrance, the tax collector tries to take something from them again, and more familiar faces are seen around the ring area.

Olive: "And I disapprove of you taking me to a fight and my parents to a fight and my baby to a fight."
Popeye: "Fightin' is fun."
Olive: "Fights are not fun."
Nana: "You know the words to this song, Cole?"
Cole: "Of course I know the words. It's our national anthem, isn't it?"
Tax collector: "That'll be 62 cents. Going to an illegal sporting event tax."
Popeye: "If it's illegal, how come it's goin' on?"
Wimpy: "Ladies and gentlemen, citizens of Sweethaven, who will be the only mortal in our midst to attempt to last one scandalous round with that ugliest of plug-uglies, that unworthiest of worthies, the perjorative of pugilism..."

The EU version instead has only two introductory shots, the first of which should also be exclusive. With the shot of Geezil's stand, the versions run in sync again.

Original version 55.9 sec longer.

42:33 / 52:52-53:03

After Geezil yells "I hate you to pieces!" after Wimpy, there are two shots missing with his opponent Oxblood Oxheart in the ring.
In the process, we also hear from his mother as an instruction, "Now don't-- don't kill him. Just fluff him up a bit."

10 sec

44:54 / 55:30-55:34

Popeye prances around in front of Oxblood in another shot and lightly hits him on the head. The crowd cheers.
