After Shaz told Gene and Alex about Tim Price, Alex's father, the conversation continues in the UK Version.
Gene: "Who was the barrister?"
Shaz: "Tim Price. Caroline Price's husband. He must be very good 'cause he got 'em off every time."
The International Versions ends here. In the following shot, Gene and Alex are leaving the station.
In the UK Version, there is some additional dialog.
Gene: "Oh, the Prices again. Curiouser and curiouser."
Alex: "Kennedy hooked up with the RWF. If they found out he worked at Edgehampton he could be very useful to them."
Gene: "Useful how?"
Alex: "There is a Cold War going on."
Gene: "I'm going to have a little talk with this Templeton woman."
Not until then, Gene and Alex leave the station in the UK Version.

The International Version lacks a scene with Chris and Shaz at the station.
Shaz: "Why can't you get me a marathon?"
Chris: "I'd be patronising you."
Shaz: "I'll give you the money."
Chris: "Even if you did, what I'd be saying by getting it for you is that you can't fetch your own independent Marathon. That you're not as able as me."
Shaz: "You think I'm handicapped?"
Chris (while the phone is ringing): "No, you're a woman."
Then Chris answers the phone: "Hello?"

After Alex's chat with her mother, the International Version goes on with Gene locking the file they stole from Edgehempton in his desk drawer.
The UK Version on the other hand shows Alex leaving the station. In front of the station, Evan comes along and starts talking to her.
Evan: "Alex."
Alex: "Hi."
Evan: "Hi."
Alex: "What can I do for you?"
Evan: "I dunno. I mean, I don't know why I feel that it's so important, but I just want you to know that Caroline and me, it's over, it's finished. It was such a stupid, stupid thing and it's over."
Alex: "And that's what you've come here to say?"
Evan: "Er, yeah. I just felt that it was something that I should do. And now that I've done it, I feel completely ridiculous.
Alex laughs, then she asks: "And that's it?"
Evan: "Yeah. Yeah, that's it. Good night."
Alex: "Night."
Then Evan leaves and so does Alex.
Now Gene locking the file in his desk drawer in the UK Version as well.
