Re-Cut
46:50 bzw 46:52-46:54 / 55:37-55:40

After Jackie said "Not so close", there actually already is a shot of Grank and Miki - in the international version this shot was postponed.
As was mentioned above, the original version now shows the minivan on the street (not illustrated).

Original Version 0.2 sec longer

Censorship
47:16 / 56:06-56:08

Grank hits Miki again.
Jackie (shouting): "Hey, stop it!"

2.5 sec

Re-Cut
47:18-47:21 / 56:10-56:11 bzw 56:20-56:21

The international version now also shows the "Hey, stop it!"-sequence (not illustrated again). Then we see a closer shot of Grank running by. At the end, the camera pans to the crane. This shot actually follows a few seconds later, just before Jackie gets ready to jump.
In the original version, the following shot of Jackie starts slightly earlier (not illustrated below).

International Version 2 sec longer

47:21 / 56:12-56:17

Jackie runs over the bridge and we see the leader walking from a different perspective.

5.6 sec

47:29 / 56:27-56:30

Two shots of Jackie's slow motion jump were extended at the beginning/end.
This was done to eliminate the Hong Kong convention to show an action twice in a row from two different perspective.

3.3 sec

Re-Cut
47:45 bzw 47:49-47:52 / 56:46-56:50

The crane continues to turn an the construction worker is being pushed into the framework and pushes another worker to the ground. Both of them fall into the water.
In the international version this happens a few seconds later after we saw the leader and Miki again.

47:54 / 56:56-56:57

Jackie runs away a little longer.

1 sec

48:01 / 57:04-57:05

Miki is being carried away a little longer.

0.8 sec

48:42 / 57:45-57:47

A first shot of the minivan driving up to the camera.

1.5 sec

48:55 / 58:00-58:03

After saying that the bad guys are smarter than expected, Jackie says: "No, you're stupid!"
Officer: "Stupid?"

2.5 sec

Re-Cut
50:21 bzw 50:24-50:30 / 59:29-59:38

A first shot of the bad guys' car is followed by Jackie being beat up inside.
The shots of the brawl luckily were added back in a few seconds later in the international version. The shot of the car follows at 51:39, just before Jackie is able to break free from the car.

Original Version 1.8 sec longer

50:35 / 59:45-59:46

The first shot of Sammo Hung's cameo begins a little earlier.

0.5 sec

Soon after that thwo shots miss out on half a second each.

51:11 / 60:23-60:30

The demons already want to push Jackie out of the van. However, Grank stops them.
Grank: "Let's keep him until we're sure this is the right tape."

6.9 sec

Altered Soundtrack
51:12 / 60:31

When Jackie is being pushed on the ground of the van's floor again, the international version uses a slightly different variant of the sentence that was just cut out: "Are you sure this is the right tape?"

Altered Soundtrack
51:22 / 60:41

In the international version Grank says: "We got the tape. Let's call Giancarlo and set up a meeting."
In the original version he instead says: "Check the tape. And if it's not the right tape, you're dead."

Re-Cut
51:24-51:40 / 60:43

The international version now shows Grank's phone conversation with Giancarlo that actually happened 15 minutes ago.
Subsequently they added the shot of the van from 50:21 / 59:29-59:38.

+ 15.9 sec

51:40 / 60:43-60:46

Jackie reaches for the handbrake.

3.4 sec

Alternative Scene / Re-Cut
51:42-51:44 / 60:48-60:52

While the international version now shows a short moment of the above-mentioned shot (not illustrated below), the original version shows another shot of some more handbrake-reaching.

Original Version 1.3 sec longer

51:59 / 61:07-61:08

One could argue that this might be censorship, yet it is probably just a cut to make the movie more relatable to Western audiences. The bad guy falls to the side a little longer. The following exterior shot begins a little earlier.
Due to the cut in the middle of his movement to the side, the international version makes it seem as if the bad guy was pushed out of the window due to the heavy punch.

1 sec

Censorship
52:34 / 61:43-61:51

Someone threatens Jackie with a knife, yet he is able to break free by biting in the guy's nipple.

7.4 sec

52:45 / 62:01-62:04

Sammo struggles with his bike a little longer.

2.2 sec

53:16 / 62:34-62:36

The Pepsi-truck drives up.

1.8 sec

53:19 / 62:40-62:41

A shot from the side begins a little earlier when the truck loses its cargo.

1.3 sec

54:35 / 63:57-63:59

The captured demon-member is shown a little earlier.

1.9 sec

54:37 / 64:01-64:02

Another short shot of Romeo.

1.5 sec

Alternative Scene / Re-Cut
54:48-54:52 / 64:13-64:15

In the international version we see diana driving up to Jackie.
In the original version, the following shot of a demon-member on the hood begins a little earlier in return.

International Version 1.7 sec longer

55:12 / 64:35-64:43

The guy is lead off a little longer, followed by the aforementioned shot of Diana and Jackie.
After that, Romeo says: "Clean up this mess!"

7.9 sec

Alternative Scene / Re-Cut
56:51-57:03 / 66:22-66:27

The international version already shows Giancarlo surprising the girls (see the following colored block).
The original version instead shows a first scene with the blue doors.

International Version 7,2 sec longer

The scene of Giancarlo and the girls is a little different in the original version:

Altered Soundtrack
57:02 / 67:51

Only in the international version Giancarlo says "Where's my cocaine?" vwhen he pushes Miki to the side.

Censorship
57:03 / 67:52-68:19

Things get more brutal: Giancarlo punches Sandy in the face. She falls to the ground and there is blood on his forehead.
Immediately, the bad guys pull her back up and Giancarlo asks from off-screen: "Where's my cocaine? You'll have to speak up, I can't hear you."
Sandy: "I used it to powder my nose."
Some bad guys bring in her colleagues who are all tied up.
Giancarlo: "Ha. Let me see if I can communicate a little more effectively then."
The guy with a rope around his neck gets a kick in the stomach. The international version includes the guy putting up his head in pain during the next block of scenes.

26.9 sec

Alternative Scene / Re-Cut
57:53-58:19 / 67:17-67:19

The original version continues with the stumbling around and thus show Jackie almost falling - the first shot of this begins a little earlier (not illustrated).
In the international version we instead already see Giancarlo threatening the demons. In the colored block you will see that this is actually a re-cut.

International Version 24.7 sec longer

Censorship
57:57 / 68:24-68:30

Sandy gets hit in the face again.
Giancarlo: "No tape? Well, then where's my cocaine?"
Subsequently he pulls out his weapon and shoots one of the demons (off-screen).

The camera pans to Sandy screaming and when it arrives there, the international version continues. Thus, it comes off as much more harmless, as if she was just reacting to the beating. Actually, she is mourning one of her dead gang-colleagues.

6.5 sec

Re-Cut
58:01-58:04 / 68:34-68:38

In the exact same shot, Sandy immediately says: "What happens to us if I tell you?". Giancarlo laughs and answers in one uninterrupted shot.
In the international version we first see Giancarlo laughing, then she asks, then he answers. A few frames are lost in the process.

Original Version 1.3 sec longer

58:19 / 68:54-69:02

In the end, Miki is being pushed into the room and the bad guys ok around for a while. In the middle, the international version continues with the next re-cut-block.

8.1 sec

Re-Cut
58:30-58:55 / 67:30

The scheme repeats: The international version already shows Giancarlo finding his lost coke and Sandy freeing herself.
This time, however, there is no material lost. The cuts in the international version are shown in the following block.

+ 25.2 sec

58:36 / 69:08

The coke-suitcase is opened a little earlier.

0.6 sec

58:41 / 69:14-69:15

After the sentence "We found it!" we also hear a colleague saying: "All of it."

0.6 sec

58:45 / 69:19-69:20

Sandy breaks free slightly longer.

0.6 sec

Censorship
58:46 / 69:21-69:22

Sandy stabs and the bad guy screams in a close-up shot.

1.3 sec

58:52 / 69:28-69:32

We see Sandy running in slow motion. A bad guy is shooting at her.

3.8 sec

59:02 / 67:37-69:37

In the original version, the guy falls to the ground longer. Jackie and the bad guys stumble back inside.
Then follows a longer block of scenes that had already been cut up for the international version. As we had shown in the previous colored-in block, there are a few extensions.

The following shot of Sandy screaming begins a little earlier. Since a few similar scenes stayed in the international version, this is probably no censorship.

120.4 sec (= 2:00 min)

59:08 / 69:43-69:44

Giancarlo comes through the door a little earlier.

1.2 sec

Censorship
59:38 / 70:14-70:17

Giancarlo smacks Miki and she falls to the side.

2.3 sec

Re-Cut
59:38-60:07 / 70:17 bzw 70:51-71:20

A part of the fight scene was postponed, while the original version already starts with Miki being pushed around.
In the original version this happens roughly half a minute later, after Lakeisha was overpowered. No frame was cut out.

No difference in time.

60:59 / 71:38-71:39

The bad guys come up from behind the framework.

0.7 sec

61:36 / 72:16

A missing sequence with a runtime of under 0.5 seconds with interesting footage: A saw gtets closer to Jackie's stomach a little longer before the plug is being pulled.
This probably was not done due to censorship but rather to create a more fluent transition.

0.3 sec

61:51 / 72:31-72:31

Jackie and the bad guys take a breath a little longer.

0.6 sec

62:00 / 72:41-72:42

Some more cuts just before someone jumps at Jackie.

0.9 sec

62:22 / 72:44-72:45

Again, a few unimportant frames were taken out when Jackie knits an attackers hand to a jackhammer.

0.8 sec

62:35 / 72:58-73:00

The long shot of the two bad guys is slightly longer.

1.3 sec

63:23 / 74:08-74:09

Sandy looks around the pillar a little earlier.

0.9 sec

63:57 / 74:44-74:45

A scene where Romeo answers the phone with the sentence "This is Romeo" was taken out. This is not bothersome, since the repeated turnings of his upper body are rather confusing.

1.8 sec

64:01 / 74:50-74:50

The following shot starts a little earlier.

0.6 sec

64:03 / 74:52-74:53

He looks to the TV a little longer.

0.8 sec

64:07 / 74:57-74:58

The next shot of him starts earlier.

0.9 sec

64:10 / 75:00-75:46

Romeo visits Sandy and Diana in the hospital.

Romeo: "What happened?"
Sandy: "Jackie and the two girls were captured by Giancarlo. And if you want to save him you better hurry."
Romeo: "Thanks"
Romeo goes over to Diana.
Diana (whispering): "Romeo. Remember: It's my exclusive."
He laughs and leaves.

45.4 sec

64:13 / 75:49-75:50

The fax machine is shown earlier.

1 sec

Censorship
64:48 / 76:25-76:28

Lakeisha is smacked in the face for talking back. Then, the camera pans to Jackie.

2.6 sec
