Comparison between the British DVD (BBFC 15) from Universal and the US-DVD (R-Rated) from Miramax.
In order to get around an '18'-Rating, the word "cunt" was replaced with the word "cow" on the British DVD. Cunt is maybe the last taboo word that makes the BBFC give an '18'-Rating. However, whether the BBFC considers the use of the word objectionable also depends on the context. Sometimes female characters can get away with it, whereas the use by a man is almost always condemned.
