Comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.

5 differences, among of them 1 with alternate footage
Length difference: 32.3 sec

All Blu-ray releases of this cult series unfortunately only contain the TV-Version of all of the episodes. Viewers who already know the Extended Versions from the DVD boxes will miss the additional footage.

Episode 3x21 (The One with the Chick and the Duck) is approx. half a minute longer. Both Monica and Chandler score by getting the laughs.

Black screen after the opening in the TV Version.

+ 1.6 sec

In the Extended Version, Pete makes a comment about the Japanese gift: "You know what that says in English? Made in Texas."
In the TV Version, the previous medium long shot of them is a little longer.

Extended Version 3.9 sec longer

TV Version (Blu-ray)Extended Version

In the Extended Version, Monica and Rachel are joking a little longer after they chased Ross away.
Monica: "Was that a little harsh?"
Rachel: "Oh, come on, you kidding? Don't you remember when you used to wear that gray sweat suit? And I used to call you the Hindenburg?"
Monica thinks for a moment, then she says: "No."
Rachel says in an innocent way: "My mistake."

In the TV Version, the shot of the closed door is insignificantly longer (no screenshots nor considered as alternate footage).

Extended Version 14.7 sec longer

After the equivocal comment "Maybe we weren’t ready to have a chick.", the gag gets trashed out in the Extended Version.

Chandler: "I sure want one someday though."
Joey: "I know. I know."

5 sec

Ross makes a critical comment, allegedly about the chicken: "I can't believe you still have that."
Chandler: "We're taking her back tomorrow."
But Ross was refering to the mustache: "No, that ridiculous thing on your face."
Joey: "Thank you."

7.2 sec

Black screen due to a commercial break in the TV Version. The Extended Version contains an additional exterior shot instead.

Extended Version 1.5 sec longer
