When looking at the not exactly big sub-genre of the "Melt Movies", a variety of the splatter-film, that is basically centered around showing people melting as strange and effectively as possible there is no way around "Street Trash", its only representative reaching a positive level on the stupidity scale, even though this is still in a one-digit area. That "Street Trash" can still be understood after alcohol-poisoning is not really a plus for this moronic piece of film. Since the director Jim Muro, who is a pretty accomplished Steadicam-operator in Hollywood working on films like "Titanic" or "The Fast and the Furious", created at least a few nice effects and camera-angles "Street Trash" is not entirely uninteresting.
The New York underground-cult-film has been released uncut pretty much all across the world. But back in the day the BBFC cut 6 seconds out off the British tape released by Caleco Direct Video. How banal and featherbrained these cuts were will be proven by this report.

The UK VHS by Avatar (BBFC 18) is cut as well but the VHS and DVD from Midnight Movies are uncut.
