Compared are the BBFC 12-DVD by Momentum Pictures / Artisan (equals the PG-13 Version) and the German Uncut DVD (equals the R-Rated Version).
6 cuts in the PG-13 = 1 minute and 6 seconds. 3 cuts in the R-Rated = 19 seconds. 9 alternate scenes = PG-13: 44 seconds / R-Rated: 2 minutes and 1.5 seconds. 6 alternate scenes without difference. 1 recut = PG-13: -20 seconds / R-Rated: -40 seconds. Only the R-Rated Version contains the shot of Cathy leaving the house. A friend of hers witnesses her and throws a bottle after her, which hits the ground. She turns around, he asks her why she was leaving already because the party had just gotten started. Cathy asks if he could take her home but he doesn't want to. Cathy replies she had to walk then and leaves. On her way home, she's being followed by a stranger. Suddenly, she gets scared. So she walks faster. After a short while, she gets grabbed by a suddenly appearing person and dragged into an abandoned alley. Two men are pushing her to the ground, gag her and slice up her arteries. She suddenyl hears her name from another direction. She looks into that direction and sees a mysterious person kneeing on the ground. That person is cleaning her bloody shoe. Cassie is scared and runs straight to the exit. Now a shot of Cassie in a phone booth. She leaves a message for her mom. She explains she needed to talk to her urgently because she wasn't feeling very well and she wanted to come home. PG-13: Cassie is sitting in front of the pavillon thoughtfully. Suddenly, Sean appears next to her. She jumps up and steps back. Sean explains he'd never get the chance to talk to her again and wants to know if she wanted him to leave her alone. Cassie tells him he couldn't exist because he'd die an a car crash. Sean calms her down and leads her through the woods. They fall into each others arms. Sean explains she had to leave immediately because the unknown hostiles were going to follow and kill her if she didn't. Cassie says she didn't want to die and rushes to her girlfriend who has been calling for her several times. She stays in the woods and watches her leave. Cassie runs to the pavillion and hides behind it. She can see Matt, he's talking to one of the killers. When Matt sees her, he and the other guy keep walking. After a short while, she runs into Matt.
