Comparison between the R-Rated version released by Media Blasters / Shriek Show and the uncut German DVD by Best Entertainment / Screen Power (Unrated).

There are 8 alternative scenes, however, there's no difference in time.

Even though the cover of the Media Blasters / Shriek Show DVD calls it an "Unrated" DVD, it still only includes the R-Rated version of the movie; thus, the goriest scenes of the movie were replaced by alternative footage. Several VHS versions were also based on the R-Rated version. We don't know whether or not there exists an American DVD/VHS/Blu-Ray/etc. that includes the unrated version.

After the killer slit Tommy's throat (which is still included in the R-Rated version) you see him hanging out of the roof of the car; blood comes out of the wound on his neck while the killer turns away. The R-Rated version instead shows Nicole who flees through the forest, followed by a short cut to Tommy's corpse.

After Nicole's throat was cut you see blood coming out of the wound and then she goes to the ground. Then follows a cut to Tommy's corpse. After that, the killer carries Nicole's corpse to the swamp. Again, there's a cut to Tommy's corpse. The R-Rated version shows alternative footage when the throat is slit, when Nicole's corpse is carried to the swamp and when the little girl is baptised by the priest in the lake.
