When "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines" was released in 2004 as the second part of the Vampire: The Masquerade series, the fans were thrilled. In fact, the game turned out to be a great RPG based in the Vampire universe. The story is non-linear in an open world with a lot of side quests and the player can freely create his/her character.

Unfortunately, extreme hardware requirements with bad performance and a lot of bugs were the big downsides of the game. The programmers from Troika were releasing patches, which removed the biggest bugs, but they had to close down not long after the release. Then the fanbase took over and continued the release of patches and bugfixes, which have improved the playability a lot.

Players in the UK, however, had even more toi complain about. This is because a part of the intro was removed in the GB Version. However, the game content was not changed at all.
Censored Intro
The prince says sorry to the vampire which bit the player, then his bodyguard draws his swprd and beheads the vampire. Cut to the watching vampires, who partially look disgusted. Then the campera is on the stage again, where the beheaded corpse turns into ashes.

In the censored version, a frame of the bodyguard raising his sword is missing, the following beheading is missing completely. The audio can be heard, but instead one sees the audience. The burning corpse on the stage then also still has its head on.

Note: The identical pictures in the sequence were added for more clarity.
