In the UK, the Xbox 360-game Dead Rising at first did not receive a rating. In the rest of Europe, the game was released as uncensored version - or at least that's what we thought, since the violence was not toned down in any way. However, if you take a closer look you will find that the European version was slightly censored in terms of nudity. The reason for this censorship are probably the Australian censors (which are at least equally harsh when it comes to nudity as their US-colleagues), since the European multilanguage-version of the game was also sold in Australia.
However, this censorship is not really noticeable and does not affect the game's entertainment/storyline in any way. So if you own the European version - you don't miss too much. Comparison between the censored Austrian version (PEGI 18+/ MA 15+) (=European version) and the uncensored US Version (Mature 17+) Naked Pictures
Inside the shop "In the Closet" (Entrance Plaza) you can wear a t-shirt that in the US version shows a topless woman. In the European version she's wearing a bikini.
A painting which you can find inside the shop "Casual Gals" near the changing room (Wonderland Plaza) is also censored. The woman on the picture is only wearing a white dress. You can use this picture as a weapon.
