Comparison between the TV Version and the Extended Version.
9 differences, among of them 3 with alternate footage Length difference: 55.6 sec All Blu-ray releases of this cult series unfortunately only contain the TV-Version of all of the episodes. Viewers who already know the Extended Versions from the DVD boxes will miss the additional footage. Episode 3x19 (The One With the Tiny T-Shirt) is almost one minute longer. Here, too, basically a few nice additional moments with Chandler with makes the Extended Version worthwhile. Alternate
00:29-00:32 Rachel keeps explaining the shopping comment: "I got a positive balance on my credit card and I want to use it up before Citibank goes under." Mark: "Good idea, good idea..." In the Extended Version, the shot simply goes on while a different take has been used in the TV Version. Extended Version 6.4 sec longer
02:47-02:49 Black screen after the opening in the TV Version. + 1.3 sec 02:14 Monica makes fun of Pete's predicted progress with the voice recognition resp. he speaks with assumed grandma voice: "Oh, wow. Would it be able to recognize my voice if I talked like this?" Pete: "Oh, yeah. It'll understand you, but it's gonna make fun of you." 8.6 sec
Alternate 07:01-07:04 More picture information on the Blu-ray. no difference
10:45 Monica speaks more detailed about her relationship problems: "(Either they’re too old, or they’re too young), or they're a big misogynist jerk like Julio. Who, by the way, I'm still attracted to." 7.7 sec
TV Version longer 10:47-10:49 Associated with the previous extension, two shots are insignificantly longer in the TV Version because the TV Version had not maade it to Monica's comment in brackets yet. + 2 sec 12:35-12:37 Black screen due to a commercial break in the TV Version. As comensation, the Extended Version contains an additional exterior shot. Extended Version 1.6 sec longer
13:45 Ross also says: "Look, this guy is bad news, Chandler. I can sense he's an operator." Chandler: "Rachel wouldn't date an operator. They only make 20 grand a year and they have to work nights." Ross gives him the evil eye. Then he tries to come up with a reason to go to her. 11.6 sec
Alternate 14:35-14:37 In the TV Version, Ross and Chandler remain in that weird position a little longer. In the Extended Version, Chandler gets off him and says: "Is it me, or did subletting my peephole sound kind of dirty?" Ross thinks about it. Extended Version 10.5 sec longer
22:24 Phoebe also asks: "Okay, I have a friend, Jimmy Tupperman, what would his powers be?" Chandler has to think about it for a brief moment: "Tupper Man! He would keep criminals fresh until the police came." Phoebe laughs. 11.4 sec
